I will choose one word for 2014… and I choose…
one
...that’s it, that’s my word for the year.
Too often... almost always... the MANY threatens to overwhelm the
one...
and the
one...
never happens. Worries about the MANY use up so much of my energy and I neglect the important, that which (I think) can be set aside until tomorrow, but really is so much more important than its current place at the end of my never ending list... much more important than clean dishes and that next cup of coffee.
What if I just did one thing each day, one thing that God whispers in my heart… write the letter, take the picture, share a prayer with a friend...
What if, instead of thinking about (listening to) all these promptings, and wishing I had more time to do them, wishing that I would have done them… I stopped and did one of these things… this day, this moment??
We shall see!!
